Controversial highway 413 reaches top of Ford government re-election promises

How would you describe traffic in southern Ontario? “Dysfunctional” and
“totally stupid” are the words that Sid Seixeiro would use. In an attempt to rectify the gridlock outside the GTHA, Doug Ford is looking to spend $10 billion on building the 413 highway. Highway 413 would connect the junction of Highway 401 and Highway 407 to the terminus of Highway 410, and continue on eastward to Highway 400 south of King Road, spanning four to six lanes and 59 kilometres. If re-elected, Doug Ford has made it very clear that this will be the top of priority.
