Tammie is a reporter for CityNews and Breakfast Television Toronto. She joined the Citytv team in 2008 as a writer, and later as an associate producer. In 2011, Tammie moved to the other side of the camera as a reporter.
Sutherland was born in Toronto, raised in Malton, ON and Brampton, ON and has roots in the sunny island of Jamaica. She studied journalism at Seneca College and earned a sociology degree at York University. Her career in journalism started in radio, working for Durham Radio Inc. in Oshawa before anchoring and reporting for AM640 Toronto.
